Ipods are not clothes. They are not required to be worn, you will not be charged with indecent exposure if seen without one. For God's sakes people, there is a world out there (I can see it through the window sometimes when my Xbox isn't on). You should not be walking everywhere with your headphones on. You should not be listening to your Ipod at maximum volume. You know what happens when you do? You know what happens when you go through life not expecting anything to happen? This is what happens. A sad story, but this is the price payed for thinking the world will just go around you. Remember this story the next time you cross the street, or else you will die. Yes, you will die right then and there.

Wow… I agree with you about the IPods, that is why I don’t carry one around at full volume. You can not only die from such types of accidents like the one in the article, but also every time you hear music constantly at high levels small hairs in your ear that receive sound are damaged. Those tiny hairs are damaged by loud noises, and they cannot be fixed, or replaced. So, you can become deaf from IPods and other sound systems. The story was really sad…
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. People today are highly involved more in their electronic devices than with other people. It can be okay, though. For example, when walking it might be more interesting to listen to music or while waiting in line. However, it is ridiculous to put it full volume and block yourself from everyone else. At other times, it might not be a good idea. While doing homework or while driving it might not be smart to listen to music because it's hard to focus.
